Who we are

romansoutoftime.com is the book website for Broken Arches, the first book of Romans Out of Time, by Roberto Campus. The site is operated from Sardinia, Italy, within the European Union.

What data we collect

This site collects almost no data. There is no account, no login, and no profile. If you do not sign up for the newsletter, we do not collect any personal information about you.

The newsletter

If you sign up for Letters from the Aqueduct, we collect the email address you provide and, if you choose to share it, your name. Your email is processed by our newsletter provider, MailerLite, which may transfer your data outside the European Economic Area under standard contractual clauses. MailerLite’s own privacy policy is at mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We use your email only to send you the newsletter and the first three chapters of the novel. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for marketing. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email; unsubscribing removes your address from our list.

Cookies and embedded content

This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and serves its own fonts. The embedded MailerLite form may set functional cookies when you interact with it, as necessary to process your signup.

When a book trailer is published here, it is embedded from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain and loads only when you press play. From that point YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to the video player.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you: in practice, your email address, if you have subscribed
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Withdraw your consent at any time, by unsubscribing or by writing to us
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali)
